Summary
Our growing company is in need of an experienced and resourceful North American Business Development Executive to develop and implement growth opportunities via existing and new partner relationships.

As a small but growing SaaS business headquartered in Sydney Australia, we are looking to the North American territory for our next stage of growth via White Label and OEM relationships for our Low-code Platform, with larger software vendors.

We are in the early stages of our first US partner relationship and we need someone to nurture it and grow it, at the same time as keeping an eye on the future and identifying similar potential partners.

In joining our senior management team, we’re searching for professionals that have a solid track record of spearheading early stage opportunities, and creating long-term value from partnerships and alliances.

As our first North American based employee, candidates should have the ability to work independently and manage a diverse range of activities. Successful applicants should also be willing to travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive relationships with partners and be their primary point of contact with the wider company
  • Guide and support partner sales and business development activities as they seek to attract new clients
  • Research, identify and build new opportunities via new vertical market (White Label/OEM) partners
  • Research, identify and build a technical support network for those partners (or their end-users) who will require more complex customisation work
  • Actively participate in all senior management meetings and work with other team members to help identify and secure opportunities
  • Maintain effective contact with team members in other countries/time zones

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of software tools, and the techniques and technologies used to integrate software systems
  • Experience in developing positive partner relationships, particularly with regards White Label/OEM or revenue sharing strategies
  • Experience in management/leadership positions within early stage, high growth companies

  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Relish the thought of working with a very bright, motivated and technically demanding team
  • Demonstrate ‘out of the box’ thinking and enjoy the challenge of navigating unique pathways to an end goal
